The importance of proper ball mill working conditions
In the process of ore grinding, the consumption of grinding balls is not only affected by the wear resistance of the grinding media itself, but also affected by the grinding working condition. The following is an example of wet grinding condition:
1. The wet grinding condition usually puts water and ore together into the ball mill. The best grinding ability is when the weight of water added equal to the ore weight. During the grinding process, too much water will reduce the grinding ability, because the ore will flow out before it reaches the grinding standard. On the contrary, too little water will hinder the movement of the grinding ball, which will not only reduce the grinding efficiency, but also let the ore cannot be discharged
2. According to different grinding conditions, choose the appropriate grinding ball size and matching ratio will maximize the grinding effect. The loading ball quantity also has a certain impact on the grinding ball consumption. When the ball loading rate reaches 50%, the grinding effect is the best. In actual processing, the ball loading rate is below 50%. Controlling the ball loading rate will improve the grinding effect to a certain extent and reduce the consumption.
3.The motor drives the barrel rotary by reducer, ore and grinding ball can be thrown and rushed down by force of friction and centrifugal force to a certain height when barrel rotaries, and then ores can be crushed and grinded gradually. If the barrel rotates too slowly, the grinding and crushing effect will be poor; if the barrel rotates too fast, the centrifugal movement of the grinding ball cannot achieve the grinding effect.
In order to reduce the consumptionof grinding balls, we have to comprehensively consider many factors. Regularly inspect and maintain the ball mill will avoid the low efficiency grinding.
